REVIEW – Veerendra Singh, the Maharaja of Devgarh, have everything in his life, girls went crazy for his looks and bank balance and cross their limits now and then to woo him but his heart holds someone else and that someone was none other than his sister Jessie’s childhood bestie Nivy Sharma.
However, the problem was that Nivy left Devgarh 5 years ago to become an actress and she too achieved her dreams but Nivy came back to her hometown after losing her earnings in a film that took a back seat due to lack of funds.
And also in Devgarh, her life was not easy, her mom forced her to settle down and marry and for this, she fixed a meeting of her daughter with Dr Jay that too at the Palace.
When Nivy accidentally met his Highness, Veer, hell loose broke, they ended up kissing each other, though the kisses were meant only to confuse the people forced on them by their mothers.
And then came a plan in Veer’s mind which was a fake engagement.
But destiny has other plans for these two. Read this salacious novel to find out how long Veer and Nivy fake this engagement.
This book is a full-on entertainer, from the very first page till the end it didn’t allow me to shift my gaze and I was glued to it till the last.
The story is written at a fast pace, however, the thing which put me off was the narration style picked by the author. The story is being narrated from both Nivy and Veer’s POV where Nivy’s part is written in the first person whereas for Veer’s part the author has used the third person narrative.
Strong characters created by the author help to understand the story properly. And the bond shared by the Royal family is something to look for.
Now, for the erotic part – the way everything is described and mentioned can easily turn anyone on 🤪
I enjoyed reading this book so much and would love to read more by the author.
If you are looking for a hot, humorous and sensual rom-com then do pick this one.
